Housing Statistics for August

According to a report issued on 8/23/06, real estate slowed in the US as we have been seeing signs for a while. Existing home sales dropped 4.1% to the lowest in two-years. There are signs of price stagnation and houses are staying on the market longer. The total number of unsold houses is at a 13-year high.
